Mrs Baird's hearty Haggis Bake
You will need:
Taste of Galloway Haggis
Pepper Sauce
Good Mashing Potatoes
Turnip
Mushrooms
Onions
Scottish Cheddar
Chop the onion and mushroom and fry in a pan, once cooked set to the side. Peel and chop the onion & potato boil in a pan with a little salt until nice and soft and able to mash. Place the haggis on the base of the ashet and scatter the fried mushroom and onion on top. Take the pepper sauce (you can make your own but i am too busy and cheat - i buy the verstagen pepper sauce that you can get at any butchers - and its absolutely delicous) pour over the top of the mushrooms and onion. Mash the tatties and turnip with a little butter and milk then place on the top of the mushrooms onion and pepper sauce. Grate cheddar on top and place in the oven at a medium heat for 40 mins.
