Pure Galloway Beef
Our Galloway cattle are mostly Grass fed all year round, with a little concentrate in the winter when the grass is scarce. Our cows live outside all year round as this was what they were bred for. Galloway cattle have a unique double coat of hair which keeps them warm & dry and makes them look very hairy. Galloway and Angus cattle shared the polled herd book until 1867!
Galloway beef is excellent because it is high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. Galloway beef is also low in total fat and in saturated fat. This means that is it less likely to contribute towards Cholesterol.
