Our Galloway cattle are mostly Grass fed all year round, with a little concentrate in the winter when the grass is scarce.  Our cows live outside all year round as this was what they were bred for.  Galloway cattle have a unique double coat of hair which keeps them warm & dry and makes them look very hairy. Galloway and Angus cattle shared the polled herd book until 1867!
